Within the carefully organized space of each and every day, it’s important to find time for the unexpected, the extraordinary and the unique, that’s what books bring to me. I love transporting myself into another world, another time and another person’s shoes experiencing adventure, romance and intrigue all from the comfort of my own arm chair.
As a writer, it constantly amazes me how, by simply typing strings of letter combinations onto a naked sheet of paper, characters spring to life, fall in love, shed tears of sadness and overcome obstacles. It’s a heady feeling to read your own words, and realize that the adventure playing out on the page was conceived and born through your own imagination.
Perhaps that’s why I consider books, whether I read them or write them, the only true magic in the world today. Why fictional characters are sometimes as real to me as my flesh and blood friends, and why certain stories stay with me, no matter how old I get.
Allow me to share my passion with you.
